TL;DR version

Your data belongs to you. With the exceptions of when requested by you and when directed by law or court order, we will never share with a third party any data you entrust to our care. We will only access your data for the maintenance of the eManage Online applications, and then only a reasonable amount necessary for this purpose. Any deviation from this policy requires a seperate agreement between you and eManage Online.

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for the eManage Online website and applications. For the purposed of this policy, applications shall mean the web application hosted at a sub-domain of client.emanage.online, the authentication system hosted at a subdomain of login.emanage.online, and the IOS and Android mobile clients. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website or our applications.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Information collected and stored in the Applications

Any information created and stored in the applications is the sole property of the business or individual registered as the owner of the account. You grant a limited license to eManage Online to access this information to conduct maintenance of the applications, as well as troubleshoot any issues reported by you or your staff. This limited license only grants access to a reasonable amount of information necessary to complete these tasks. eManage Online also has the right to review access and security logs to maintain the security of the platform. This information is never shared with third parties with the following exceptions:

  • Information marked as public access in the applications.
  • Information directed by your staff to be sent to a customer or potential customer. (e.g. Sales Proposal)
  • As part of an intergration with a third party service that your business or authorized representative opt into.
  • As part of a seperate agreement between eManage Online and your business or authorized representative. This agreement cannot be integrated into a larger agreement, but must be a seperate document outlining the terms and limits of the information to be shared.
  • As directed by law and / or court orders.

For full clarification and transparency, eManage Online does not consider storing information on a third party Cloud Provider as sharing information. eManage Online only uses Cloud Providers that meet or exceed the privacy policy of the eManage Online platform. Those partners and a link to their privacy policies are included at the end of this policy.

Information collected and stored by the Website and the Account Management Application

We are the sole owners of the information collected to create your business account and any related user accounts used to manage your business account. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will only share this information with a third party under the following conditions:

  • As anonymous, aggregate data
  • If your business opts into our Marketing program, your business name, and optionally Point of Contact name and contact information.
  • If authorized by your business or authorized representative, your business name to propose and develop a new integration with a third party service you already utilize
  • As part of a seperate agreement between eManage Online and your business or authorized representative. This agreement cannot be integrated into a larger agreement, but must be a seperate document outlining the terms and limits of the information to be shared.
  • As directed by law and / or court orders.

We may contact you via phone or email in the future to notify you about events that may impact the availablity of eManage Online, billing for services, changes to this and other policies, or other "Administrative Notices".

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, or new products or services.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Cookies

We use "cookies" on this site and in our applications. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
